Improve the recruiting process by:
1) providing the correct contact person for the job posting - I have tried to call the contact person noted in the job application, but this was the wrong number (another employee of Bosch.io picked up, who was not related to the department or HR and was not able to give me any feedback/information)
2) provide for the possibility to give feedback regarding job applications - The recruiting process is managed by a software and there is no possibility for an applicant to reach out after the application is rejected. This is a great pity since I wanted to learn more about how/what I can improve.
Selbst wenn ein Bewerberpool-Tool wie Smartr gewechselt wird, sollte an die Bewerber gedacht werden. Keine Rückmeldung ist komplett inakzeptabel, vor allem als ehemaliger Mitarbeiter.
There are far too many companies who commit to giving feedback
after an interview but do not talk the talk and walk the walk.
Regretfully, Bosch.IO subsidiary in Bulgaria is one of them. Here is why:
- No one got back to me after our 1 hour video conference call via Teams
- Despite the fact that Bosch.IO have a recruiting system in place it is not kept up to date.
Please, improve candidate experience. Maybe you can start with:
- reviewing your current recruitment process and the necessity of giving timely feedback about the decision made after a job interview
- reinforcing trust between your team(Recruiters and Hiring Managers) and job applicants by having a professional attitude towards the ones who are rejected
- increasing the level of transparency by keeping your recruiting system up to date
