One interviewer was 5 minutes late, and the interview began with me detailing my CV extensively. The conversation felt slow-paced and redundant from the start due to questions solely focused on my CV.
A comment about my career being "exciting but not linear" was dropped without allowing me to clarify or explain, creating a somewhat hostile atmosphere. This could give a wrong impression about the company. It would have been better to ask about the direction of my career or address concerns about any gaps.
The interview structure was also odd. For instance, I was asked why I would be a good fit without knowing the full details of the position. This forced me to base my answer on the LinkedIn job posting, and the interviewer's description of the role was lacking.
While the call remained professional, it wasn't pleasant. To improve the interview process, I suggest giving more focus to how my profile fits the role rather than spending 15 minutes on my CV. The interview should be made more dynamic and faster. Additionally, first-stage interviews could be shorter (30 minutes instead of 1 hour) to avoid unnecessary details like discussing holiday trips.
The interview topics were on point. Interaction with interviewer was smooth. It was a very constructive conversation with the interviewers. I felt comfortable throughout the entire interview. Overall, really satisfied.
