From the best company to the worst nightmare

Arbeitsatmosphäre

During 2024, the C-Level completely changed: while before we were all happy and sometimes there were real friendships, now in the company there is only pessimism and sadness. The new management is gradually laying off all employees with more than two years of seniority. Economically it is a disaster, few sales and many customers cancel contracts.

Kommunikation

Those who leave the company simply disappear: no announcement, communication, note. Nothing at all, as if they had never existed. Management tries awkwardly to motivate, but unfortunately the numbers speak for themselves. No feedback meetings for years, the HR department simply deals with internal bureaucracy, it is of no support to employees.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

The company has a remote-first policy: some employees work completely remotely, others in hybrid mode, others are in the office every day (a chaotic and noisy co-working space). Unfortunately, those who are not present in the office are excluded from everything, there is a kind of "private club" in which you cannot enter.

Work-Life-Balance

The objectives have not been achieved for more than a year. There is only stress and pessimism.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

With the old C-Level there was a healthy relationship. With the current one, even a normal relationship between people is missing.

Interessante Aufgaben

The product is basically the same as always, as is the market, there have been no major revolutions for some time. So no new interesting challenge.

Gleichberechtigung

Only 2 women are Team Leads, all the other 8 are men.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

They are firing (or forcing to resign) all people over 35 years old. It doesn't seem like there are many "senior" employees left.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Until last year the company was in a nice office in a quiet area (Tempelhofer Hafen). Then it moved to Mitte, in a noisy and chaotic co-working space (to save on rent). You can work from home, but be aware that you won't be part completely of the team.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

There used to be sensitivity on these issues, now they haven't been talked about for months/years.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Salaries have been frozen for a long time, the company has fewer and fewer customers and few resources to distribute.

Karriere/Weiterbildung

No possibility of promotion or new responsibilities. Soon there will be more managers than employees.
