Many restructurings and mergers with Merkle and Video Beat - but still the same incompetent executives.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
There's a lot of talk about 8 ways and the ability to critique, etc. But it's all just blah blah blah. I work at Dentsu Creative, formerly Merkle, and before that, Namics... In 3 years, this place has been restructured because no success was achieved - especially in the area of creative content. But instead of firing incompetent executives without creative understanding, they restructure - any questions about the culture?
Kommunikation
Very bad. How can there be good communication when executives get their positions through connections rather than knowledge, achievements, or skills? No understanding of the subject = poor communication
Kollegenzusammenhalt
That is the only positive thing. We colleagues share the burden and have all already quit internally: We no longer fight for the company or its success, but for our solidarity. The company hasn't contributed to this - certainly not HR, who actively comments here and tries to find a spark of positivity in negative comments.
Work-Life-Balance
Welcome to the 90s...
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Terrible: not open to criticism, not capable of leadership, not strong in expertise... some are at the knowledge level of a job starter
Interessante Aufgaben
nope
Gleichberechtigung
Equality means: If you ingratiate yourself with your superior, you get promoted; if you criticize your superior, you don't get promoted
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
its okay
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
more greenwashing then social impact
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Basic - not up to date

Dentsu Creative - sounds good in the US and Japan, but it's absolutely terrible - based on new joiners like video beat and merkle into the dentsu creative universe . The CEO wants this place to be among the top 10 creative agencies. That shows just how wrong their self-perception is. It's like me saying: I can't program, but I invented Microsoft.
