Eumetsat is doing some developments for space projects, but it is not really in space business. It is responsible for developing ground systems, where raw data is used to create meaningful data, and it is operating the satellite. All the time I felt like Eumetsat is doing what ESA doesnt want to do. If you are really involved in the space business, I would suggest ESA, Satellite companies, Airbus, etc.
There is a deep discrimination between staffs and contractors. I hated it from the beginning.
