I can only say positive things about my experience at Eurowings Digital. The hiring process was incredibly fast and seamless. The HR recruiter immediately understood which position would be the perfect fit for me. From day one, my team welcomed me so warmly that I never felt like the "new person" – and this truly applies to all employees here.
Although high standards are expected, there’s an atmosphere of understanding and willingness to help. You never feel like you’re bothering your colleagues when you need support. I’ve never worked for an employer that’s so employee-oriented while also placing so much trust in its team. What’s particularly commendable is the strong emphasis on cultural fit, ensuring that everyone gets along well and that the team dynamics are always positive.
You genuinely look forward to coming to work because a lot of emphasis is placed on creating a comfortable atmosphere on-site. The work itself is diverse, demands agility, and is perfect for anyone who enjoys being empowered. The regular team events also help turn colleagues into friends you’re happy to spend time with outside of work. Eurowings Digital is truly an employer where you can feel completely at home.

as I was one of the oldest I can only say that I got fully respected
low hierarchy levels
YES!
there was NO boring task to any time
I found both the application process and the onboarding week to be professional, efficient and excellent. During this week, you are prepared for everything and familiarized with the company's operations, which gives you an overview of everything right from the start.
The office is beautifully designed with an open layout that facilitates communication and promotes a positive atmosphere. This year, the office has been modernized, making it super cozy and inviting, encouraging frequent visits. Regular team events and activities build team spirit.
Flexible working hours and the option for remote work are available
A variety of learning and development opportunities through training and workshops support employees' career goals. Permanent employees have access to a learning budget and opportunities for internal advancement.
Everyone on my team is helpful and supportive, which creates a pleasant and productive work environment. As a fast-growing company, many new colleagues join us on a regular basis.
Managers are easily accessible and actively support employees. There is a strong emphasis on feedback and personal development, and decisions are communicated transparently.
There are flexible working hours and the option to work from home.
Modern amenities (company phone, laptop, home office setup) are provided for the office and home.
Communication within the company is open and transparent. Regular meetings and updates keep everyone informed.
All employees are treated equally and respected. This is a very international company.
There are opportunities to work on interesting projects and contribute your own ideas. New ideas are encouraged and appreciated.
The HR conversation suggest remote work opportunities, yet employees residing outside the area frequently incur travel expenses not reimbursed by the company.
The office is quite rundown and situated in a less-than-ideal location. However, the People team makes commendable efforts to cultivate a fun atmosphere, which is truly appreciated. Kudos to them for their dedication!
Extremely unsatisfactory comminication! My manager was responsible for a team of 20 individuals without allocating time for meaningful one-on-one interactions. She seemed unaware of the challenges I consistently brought to her attention and at the end she used those against me. I felt unsupported and undervalued. It's concerning that leadership put someone who lacks the necessary qualifications as a teamlead of a team 20! It appeared her primary focus was impressing higher-ups rather than effectively managing the team. I was excluded from the end-of-probation peer review, as she explicitly stated that regardless of others' opinions of me, it was solely 'her decision' not to include me in the team. Just Wow!
There is an excessive amount of office politics, and there appears to be a lack of proper training among employees to support each other effectively. I notice individuals striving to elevate themselves by stepping on others' throats, aiming to appear superior, more significant, or to showcase their work as more valuable.
There are different feedback formats across the year, and I can see so many things being implemented based on feedback given by employees.
Very flexible and on eye level! Young and divers teams!
Yes, there is a lot to do and you also have long days. However, the company provides you with a structure that is fully flexible and no one is looking at you weirdly if you plan and manage your private life in your work calendar as well.
Annual Training budget, and a big support from the manager and HR to develop in different directions / on different skills.
Regular salary rounds with a performance based approach. Also, a framework in place that gives you orientation on how you are best developing your professional life.
At the end of the day, it’s still an airline. We still use many post its and I am sure we can and will also develop further here. Nice touch is a mobility benefit for all employees where they offset CO2 and plant trees!
Difficult to rate as so many new people!
Nothing to complain about. Could be a little bit more structured sometimes, but besides that I feel appreciated!
Free drinks and snacks. Regular events (also on wellbeing topics), hybrid work is encouraged, trusted work time….
And you can choose your IT equipment.
Let’s be honest…for a fast growing company there are always ups and downs in communications! I personally feel that communication is always structured, timely and open.
I've had a horrible experience at the company. Firstly, I was hired for a position while the company still had an agency working on the tasks that I was supposed to be doing. But let's start with the fact that the manager, is quite unprofessional. According to her CV, she is the manager of the team and she doesn't have relevant education + not that many years of experience. She barely had time to explain anything, giving my onboarding to a person who was not interested in doing it.
So I started working with a clear task from her "to take things from the agency". Then at some point, it happens that the agency had 0 clue that their contract is about to get terminated. She didn't tell them anything and of course, they got extremely pissed and contacted their manager. So she literally put a newcomer in an extremely uncomfortable situation. All the time I've had to fight with the agency for my own tasks. These guys, who figured that they are about to lose a very expensive contract, made my life hell on an everyday basis.
Then, a member of my team, I hope he never becomes anyone's manager because the guy is a perfect bully, was extremely horrible to me. A simple example: I'd ask him to check things with me in the meeting, we'd have a call, he would tell me that it's all fine but then he would leave public comments pointing out all my mistakes which I literally asked him to check 2 hours before.
When I complained to the manager that the team member is literally bullying me, she just ignored me. Then she made a list of very weird "things to improve" which included things like "be more reliable" or other things that you cannot measure or improve. She never answered my logical question "how do you measure soft skills" and what the hell these skills are doing in the performance check. I've never seen such an unprofessional manager in my life. Tons of expectations, zero compassion, zero empathy. Then, without even talking to me, I came to a regular 1:1 meeting where in 7 min (no joke) I was told that she doesn't see me in her team and I have to leave. This is not a joke. The company that always brags so much about the culture keeps this kind of manager. That's all - no proper feedback, nothing. They've literally blocked my account almost right away so I had to ask for 4 months for my payslips. |
So my advice - think twice before working with these people. You won't have any teaching/onboarding/empathy.
Just horrible

Allerdings geht jeder Tag doch meist recht lang.
