In keinem der Gespräche, weder HR noch mit der Fachabteilung, wurden typische Standardbewerbungsfragen gestellt sondern mit Bedacht ausgewählte Fragen (teilweise sehr detailliert und individuell bezogen auf den bisherigen Werdegang) um nicht nur rauszufinden ob der Kandidat den Erwartungen von Holidu entspricht sondern vor allem auch ob die Stelle den Erwartungen des Bewerbers entspricht

After applying, have received an answer sayingI should take part on an Interview. Indeed the interview was to answer per video a sort of questions for a robot (basically record my questions). 30 minutes lost answering non sense questions. in the next few days have recieved an answer I was not selected. It is not nice to see how less time they have invested on it (I was interviewd by a robot, second have the feeling my face and voice was recorded is something not positive). Terrible.
Habe mich die ganze Zeit während des Bewerbungsprozesses gut informiert gefühlt und alle Gespräche waren interessant und sehr herzlich! Also alles sehr gut!
The evaluation has nothing to deal with the job description.
I have applied as Business development manager and after the first HR screening I have been asked to complete an online assessment.
The test is made of 15 questions and each question has to be answered in 1 minute. I can tell that's just not possible and not fair all all. What kind of evaluation is that?
The questions require time to read the context, understand the question, reading the graph and make a few calculations which take at least 2 min per question. Of course the time run out so fast that I haven't had the chance to properly check my answers. It was so random this test, not even close to the job description and the job requirements. Thats total unfair since in the real business world good managers are not those completing a calculation in few seconds and sending it out to clients with eyes closed, but its important to always make sure of your numbers are 100% correct, especially in sales. Terrible experience, the worst in my short career so far!
Fun fact ..they expect to hire analytical genius for a no name company like Holidu and they also keep the pay low. Horrible experience, dont waste your time with them!
I don't like companies who act like top tech but are not since they are not even able to pay competitve tech salaries. Plus that taxex in Germany are hilarious. Why should I move to germany with my level of experiences for an intermediate salary and massive taxes?
My feeling is here is the importance of price > experiences.
On-Top: No transparency regarding decision making.
Nevertheless: The people I have talked to were very kind and sympathetic.
But also all were youngsters. I got already a feeling when I checked the team and noticed there are hardly any average/older people working there.
Strengths and weaknesses, technical skill set, future outlook.
Pay fair sallaries. I guess then you dont need to hire so much from abroad.
So verdient kununu Geld.
