Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Gute Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Mitarbeitern, nur das Durchschnittsalter war zu niedrig und dadurch war das Team insgesamt etwas unerfahren (was in Ordnung ist, aber aufgrund des hohen Anteils insgesamt zu einer langsameren Arbeitsweise führte). Die Empfangsdame im Büro war sehr hilfsbereit und engagiert – ein großes Lob an sie!
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Alles lief gut, bis ein neues Management die Führung übernahm, nachdem die Gründer der Marke gegangen waren. Sie stellten sehr teure Leute ein, die offenbar nur mittelmäßige Arbeit leisteten, was schließlich zur Insolvenz des Unternehmens führte, da die Investoren keine weiteren Mittel bereitstellten. Die entlassenen Mitarbeiter erhielten kaum Informationen, und der einzige Ansprechpartner war ein Unternehmensanwalt mit begrenzter Kommunikationsbefugnis. Die ehemalige CEO hält sich immer noch für die Beste und prahlt weiterhin in den sozialen Netzwerken
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Der neue Eigentümer hat eine völlig andere Sichtweise auf Kommunikation, was definitiv eine gute Sache ist. Vielleicht bemühen sie sich aber ein wenig zu sehr, was langsam von Mühe zu Mitleid übergeht.

The way employees were treated was simply sad. The career opportunities had nothing to do with skills, only with how well you got on with the relevant head or C-level.

Bisher das beste Arbeitsklima was Ich bisher hatte. Von Tag 1 an spürt man die Wertschätzung der Vorgesetzten
Work-Life-Balance
Unschlagbar. Die Anwesenheitspflicht im Büro von 2 Tagen die Woche und Kernarbeitszeit von 10-16 Uhr ermöglicht einem einen super Ausgleich zum Privatleben.

Ich denke da kann in jeder Firma noch ein bisschen was verbessert werden
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Bei so vielen Menschen kann sich nicht jeder grün sein, trotzdem ist der Zusammenhalt (auch in schwierigen Situationen) bei den meisten zu spüren

Wirklich "ältere" Kollegen gibt es hier nicht, das Durchschnittsalter ist recht jung

We are very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your time at OCEANSAPART. I noticed that there were three years between your departure from us and your evaluation. A lot has changed in that time.
We are always open to any kind of feedback about our work environment and also appreciate your constructive criticism to become a better employer. With this far-reaching retrospective in particular, we can see whether we have already provided the right impetus with our actions.
You mentioned that the working atmosphere was too noisy.
It is important to us to create a working environment in which our employees feel comfortable and since our office redesign in the beginning of 2023, we now meet the different needs of our employees. We have different types of rooms: on the one hand for exchanging ideas and on the other hand extra "quiet rooms" where concentrated work can be done.
It is also unfortunate that you have been given the feeling that there is no further development possible. We believe that personal growth is important to move our entire company forward. Therefore, we provide each employee with an annual development budget.
We also support our employees in their well-being at work through regular feedback meetings, which provide the opportunity to create an environment in which it is clear what expectations we have of each other. These feedback meetings are now supported by our internal feedback workshop, which makes the exchange even more valuable. I'm sorry you had a different experience, but as you can see we are continuously working on it to ensure a better experience in many areas.

It's international company; however, when you are German, you are part of a team; when you are not... forget about colleagues, because you are not worth it. It is what it is. They say "we are one" but it's lie. You are alone with your close team members - if you're lucky.

R team tries best to create a nice image; you can be with a dog in the office; sometimes we have company parties; even budget for self-development (but you can't use it, becasuse you have to work after hours). However, the worst and toxic company where I've ever worked - what they offer is bare minimum...

It is a pity to hear that you found the working atmosphere stressful and that you missed the team spirit among colleagues. It is important to us to create a working environment in which our employees feel comfortable. We have values in the company that we pursue. These are already communicated to all employees as part of our onboarding process and during your time at OCEANSAPART. These values are also reflected in the composition of our team. We have a wide variety of nationalities and backgrounds, which is why many different languages are spoken in the company, not just German, but also French, Spanish, Italian and Polish, among others.
There are also employees of different ages - we currently range in age from 19 to 59. In fact, the people in the company and our great team spirit are something that almost all leavers mention as something they will remember very positively and that makes OCEANSAPART unique, hence the motto We are One. We are sorry to hear that you had a different experience.
It is also unfortunate that you were not given a clear set of requirements and expectations. We support our employees in their wellbeing at work through regular feedback sessions, which provide the opportunity to create an environment where it is clear what expectations we have of each other.
We would be happy to talk about the issues again in person and hopefully find solutions together that will make you feel more comfortable with us again.
