The whole process of onboarding, office is great, people are friendly, communication is transparent and one gets to learn a lot from everyone. Even people on top are easily accessible.
Nothing is bad as for now.
Everything is great. Just bit more benefits could be given.
The company is growing a lot and I don't feel the culture is changing. It remains healthy, friendly, and collaborative
It would be great if benefits are increased or new ones are added
Benefits can be increased like educational budget or Deutschalend ticket subsidy. Other benefits can be added like meals, gyms, stores, etc.
- Mostly openminded & motivated colleagues who want to get things done; Great work ethic
- Smooth & easy onboarding experience
- Great first impression & start but not much effort made to keep employees; Management rather fires employees/accepts losing skilled employees & hires new (high fluctuation) than offering competitive salary, reasonable salary increases (at least inflation), promotions or benefits; Scalable still acts and pays like a small start up when actually they are a normal mid-sized company
- Except for free prime broker no real benefits (No a small fruit basket doesn't count); The CEOs justified this by saying they pay higher salaries instead; However, they do not pay above-average salaries and do not offer benefits/bonuses/13th salary etc.
- Planning seems very short-term & non-transparent; Fixed-term contracts & witnessed several terminations in probation period; A colleague was layed off without prior clear communication & the opportunity to implement feedback
- It seems to be a pattern of hiring relatively cheap, unexperienced but motivated leaders; Many managers who are overwhelmed with the responsibility & more concerned with proving/presenting themselves than leading & enabling their team
- Throughout the whole company - starting from the top - there is a lack of appreciation for great work; Unpaid overtime is expected & even required to possibly be considered for a promotion but since everyone works overtime/works for 1.5-2 employees to get the job done, you'll probably only be rated as a "good year"; In the end it really comes down to politics & having a good manager to not end up in a toxic work environment
- One of the CEOs has advertised in a public interview that all employees receive virtual company shares; However, this is not true; When talking to different colleagues I realized that only selected employees are offered shares & some employees don't even know this option exists
- Stop hiring young, motivated employees, paying them too little & making them promises (long-term development in company, salary, promotions) only to exploit their willingness to work & to lay them off/push them towards leaving
- Stop advertising company shares when only offering to selected employees & make the decision transparent
- Start living your value "We know that people are all we’ve got" and start caring for the actual wellbeing & development of your employees within the company
- Start planning more long-term when hiring employees
- Application process & onboarding process both have been smooth and professional - I felt comfortable from the beginning
- Interesting projects and responsibility
- Growing and support of internal talent
- Professional and kind management
I enjoy the atmosphere in both offices (Munich & Berlin) a lot
Working hours are in general tracked and over-hours are compensated
The salary system seems in general fair and rather transparent
Colleagues are really nice, open and supportive
The founders and management are supportive and constructive and in general contribute to the great working atmosphere.
Managing Directors and C-Suite are not very diverse with regard to gender. However, I feel that the atmosphere is in general inclusive and there are efforts to change this.
Spannende Themen; moderne Technologien; Coole Leute; Hoher Impact
Stock options als fester Bestandteil der Vergütung would be nice
Education Budget könnte höher sein, aber ist ok.
Gehaltserhöhungen sollten deutlich besser sein wenn man Mitarbeiter langfristig halten möchte
Bisher jeden Tag etwas neues gelernt
So verdient kununu Geld.
