Totally stuck in classical SW development. Move on. How is it possible that the company is not able to implement a proper CI/CD setup for this tiny ECU while other companies are deploying to cars/mobile phones. BlackBerry died in part because it was too self-confident. Don't be too confident that you are doing an excellent job. If you always consider that you did not, you have the chance to improve. But maybe you there is too much BlackBerry staff. Who knows.

Provide a chance to develop in a position without the need to become Projectmanager or Linemanager. Just start recongizing that the value of all the technical staff is at least equivalent to all the project and line managers. Some would even say that technical staff is the only value you have.

Oldies are goldies. They will never leave since they get paid so amazing. All kind but in part really stuck in classical software development. (pre VW contracts).
Arbeitsbedingungen
Working in cloud software development inside VW is really exhausting. The environment is just not made for fast development. Highly overregulated. And if you encounter something which is not regulated, nobody wants to take a decision. Sucking everything out of the open-source community and not sharing a dime.

C level is not getting tired to tell that we are paid well. They are comparing their pay with the one of cariad since 2 years. Without any result. I think we all know it.

Karriere/Weiterbildung
there are some rules for development:
1. You don't plan to do that in a technical position. (Project or Linemanagement is fine)
2. You leave the project and leave your team and work behind.
3. You apply for a new position.
Conclusion. If you want to have a technical career, I recommend not working at VW Infotainment.
