The CRO is bringing a fresh breeze into the company — hopefully not too late. The promised transparency, especially through regular townhalls, is a real improvement. For the first time in a long while, people feel informed and no longer left in the dark — a major step forward compared to just a few years ago. One executive in particular deserves recognition for his efforts: he’s clearly doing everything he can to hold his team and department together. Despite often ...
Much of this has already been mentioned above: the constant waves of layoffs, the increasing pressure, and the overall uncertainty are wearing people down. Employees live in ongoing fear of the end of each month — and that’s not the foundation for a sustainable work culture. It’s also hard to understand why well-functioning benefits like remote work, flexible hours, and the lunch subsidy have been cut — especially since they didn’t cause significant costs but contributed greatly to employee satisfaction. ...
Almost everything. I find it particularly worrying that the company reacts far too late to difficult market situations. Despite a sharp decline in sales, employees continue to be hired until it is suddenly realized that mass layoffs are required. This leads to the strange situation where new employees are trained while others pack their bags.
The buck stops at the top. Improvements are only realistic if the C-level is replaced. However, this is unlikely to happen because the owner recently sold the company to an investor who is in need of an unscrupulous C-level to squeeze the company dry so that it can be sold on at a profit in 3-5 years' time.
The C-level team really needs to start acting like a team — instead of playing against each other or engaging in internal power struggles. If you want to build lasting trust and stability, unity at the top is essential. The CEO brings strong ideas, a clear vision, and genuine empathy for the workforce — hopefully, he’ll also find the extra dose of assertiveness needed to make bold, consistent decisions. Cost-cutting is understandable — but it needs to happen in the ...

There’s nothing to criticize here. The way older colleagues are treated is respectful, professional, and appreciative — definitely deserves five stars. I worked closely with a colleague over 50 for a long time, and age was never an issue — the collaboration was always on equal footing.

If you want to obtain truthful information, you can't do without the grapevine. For example, mass layoffs are only communicated retrospectively, presented in an embellished form and announced by video message. There are also so-called town hall meetings in which the C-level holds a storytelling session for the employees and, for example, forecasts fantasy sales figures. At least then you know that if the fantasy figures are not achieved, the next written notices are already being drafted.
Communication has at least become more transparent and improved in the regular townhalls, which is a positive development. Unfortunately, the implementation of the communicated strategies often remains underdeveloped or inconsistent. What’s especially difficult to understand is why well-functioning benefits like flexible working hours and home office are being restricted – measures that have neither caused issues in the past nor incurred any real costs.
Further training courses are officially offered. However, due to the great pressure, it is in fact not appreciated if you “take a week off” for further training. In general, employee turnover is immense. In some positions, the respective employee resigns every 8 months. The average length of stay at Aerocompact is between one and two years. Work priorities promised at the time of recruitment are not kept and have to give way to day-to-day business. If you threaten to resign, ...
When it comes to professional development, there’s been little to no progress for years — classic cost-cutting mode. Unless you happen to have a strong connection to certain executives, you’re likely to be left out. Some employees get access to tools, workshops, and training budgets without much pushback, while others are left waiting, getting vague promises, or having to figure things out on their own. That’s far from what fair and transparent development opportunities should look like.
